Leader-Works was founded in 1999 and has served a variety of organizations including acute care hospitals, healthcare systems, ministry organizations and small businesses. Cindy E. Paget, Principal holds an M.A. in Organizational Leadership, and MHA in Healthcare Administration and a Dual B.S. in Business Administration and Information Systems and is SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resources), SHRM-SCP certified. Prosci Change Management certified, and a Crucial Conversations, Just Culture, and DDI Course facilitator. She is also a former CHESP (Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional) and still holds a Serv-Safe (Food Services Management) Certification.

Cindy began her leadership career in hospitality management serving as a Hotel GM for 8 years before moving into hospitality department leadership roles in healthcare. Leading volunteer services, admitting, communications, food/nutrition and environmental services departments for 20 years, Cindy transitioned into human resources by serving as the program director for a healthcare staffing firm in southern California. Since 2011 Cindy has served in healthcare Human Resources as a Chief HR Officer, HR Director, Director of Talent Acquisition, Employee and Labor Relations Consultant, Systems Manager, Technical Writer, Union Negotiator and Leadership Development Facilitator. She is a published technical writer and an experienced convention speaker for one of the American Hospital Association partner groups.
